virtually for the first time, where experts have identified, prioritized and proposed actions to<strong> ensure that the future of food creates a global, healthy and sustainable food system.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thirty multidisciplinary experts<strong> working on how to make the food system are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Healthier<\/strong>, providing the entire world population with sufficient and healthy food,<\/li>\n<li><strong>More sustainable<\/strong>, adapting to the challenge of economic sustainability,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Greener<\/strong>, taking on environmental challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After studying and analysing the current situation, and foreseeing what the future could be like in the short and medium term, pointing out the challenges and opportunities, the experts discussed <strong>the initiatives that could be launched in the next five years to define the future of food.<\/strong> The experts&#8217; proposals can be grouped into four main areas:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Adequate nutrition worldwide,<\/strong> with international coordination and cooperation being essential.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Impact of the food system on health.<\/strong>  On this point, the experts stress the need to promote incentives and economic policies that improve food quality, developing international, national and local food action plans.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Food sustainability,<\/strong> promoting and incentivizing agroforestry and innovative business models to launch more sustainable alternative crops.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FoodTech Solutions.<\/strong>  Among the FoodTech solutions that experts point to are plant-based proteins and cultured proteins, the use of Artificial Intelligence and Big
